Swansea based Max Elkin, recently received £150.00 to help him with the costs of his swimming career. Selected for the Welsh National Squad this year, Max was also chosen to represent Great Britain at the European Youth Swimming Championships, held in Romania in July.
Max said, ‘I’m delighted to receive this generous award from Day’s Motor Group. Swimming is an expensive sport believe it or not, and so to be able to receive help to buy training gear takes some of the financial pressure away. A huge thank you to everyone’.
Max is a student of Olchfa Comprehensive School in Swansea, where he has just begun his second year of 6th Form.
